The state of the Nation
What is the true state of Nations today? It’s crucial at this stage that we get a grip on the true definition as so many people are being led into false sentiment to their own detriment by forces that seek to further enslave them and divide them rather than unify them.
The present state in terms of you, is your relationship to the Nation.
Nationality is by legal definition; ‘the relationship between a person and a state, the person becomes subject to the state’s laws, even while not physically present in the state, in exchange for the state’s protection.’
The above expresses quite clearly the contractual basis of nationality, that if any human being is willing to subject him/herself to a state’s laws then he/she is fully entitled to the protection of that state and to receive the nationality of that state. In reality, the protection offered by the state is little more than the application of more laws, further diminishing the manifest person. In these terms, it is nothing more than a mutual consent to a relationship between person and state. This is the state of nationality today in the legal terms; it is useless to argue otherwise.
People can by submitting to the laws of that Nation obtain the same rights as those within even though they have never step foot inside the borders of the Nation State. The borders are imagined to be real by those people inside, they have been led to believe they are indeed real, but the Nation does not view them as real in any manner except legal.
Of course, we know that this is not how nationality is traditionally and etymologically defined, for there is no recognition of race, relations, culture, religion, origin or purpose. Yet when nationality is accepted one wavers these natural rights, so that one is a mere number among numbers, race-less, devoid of unique culture and personal sovereignty. A person becomes little more than an economic value within the corporate nation state, which in itself is of a purely economic-administrative entity. When we understand this we can see that the nation state has transformed into little more than a corporate organisation which is influenced by international banks and private interests operating under the scope of international commercial law. Today, this is all that ‘belonging’ to nation entails, and I hope that now a person begins to see the fallacy that is loyalty to a nation state and the heedlessness of nationalism.
In the contract of nationality, the word ‘person’, this would be you in the eyes of the state, is ‘a corporate fiction’ – Black’s Law Dictionary. So your status in the Nation as it is today is one recognized legally as not a flesh and blood biological being, but a ‘corporate fiction’, which means the ‘person’ is not defined as a sovereign natural being, but a tradable commodity incorporated by the state, a resource on the accounting books of the state.
On this alone, with no further need for defining, the case for Nationalism in our age is not only deceitful, but it is absurd, it is absurd because it is false, null and void, unless one agrees that a sovereign manifest natural being is indeed no more or less than a ‘corporate fiction’, and consents to this.
Nationalism becomes an endorsement of this ‘Corporatist’ outlook. In other cases, nationalism is endorsed by tribalists/racists (again, terms we must come to accept) who for whatever reason are unable or unwilling to apply the principles and values they reserve for their own tribe to all peoples. This racism must not be misidentified with Folkism or similar views simply because they oppose a tiny part of the ‘corporate fiction’ a person has become in the modern nation state. Namely they wish the race to be included in the factors which are considered when it comes to the legal expression of nationality, which will in turn affect the geographical area in which a person is able to inhabit – yet this is the sum total of their non-acceptance of corporate nation state. Otherwise they remain utterly unopposed to the forces which have subverted the nations and have reduced them to petty-economic blocks in which their function is to regulate ‘their people’ in a world of trading and commerce. This is absolutely contrary to the attitude of Folkism and runs in the opposite direction as to the purpose of the Folk. See the glossary.
Today it is important for Gaelicists to understand exactly where we stand and in what regard our relationship is fulfilled in the ‘nation’ in which we live with other nationals/and our Folk. It becomes clear that only place where quality is found is within our people themselves, the Folk, their ideals, creative force and collective will. Only when we have gained this proper perspective of what actually comprises the nation state in this internationalistic, globalised, self-centred world can we formulate the necessary guiding principles and overall response. When we have learned to navigate through the baseless rhetoric and fraudulent claims everything starts to become all too clear.
Nationalists (of all shades on the political spectrum) are not our kin, but are counterproductive in bringing to light the falsehoods of popular-sentiment in regards to what is the true state of the nation, to what functions they fulfil today and who exactly is the benefactor in all this. The Folk is greater than the nation, which brings me back to the importance of the term Gaelicism and the transcending qualitative values is embodies and suggests (in direct contrast to Nationalism).
Nationalism is a definite step backwards into the abyss because it rejects the obvious: True nationhood – when the structures of the State where constructed in such a fashion that the qualities & particularities of the Folk where inherently present within them – for the sole purpose of uplifting the Folk towards Arya no longer exists. The current status-quo – minus/add this or that – are merely half-measures, we say it must not be ‘preserved’ but thrown out! A new Folkish-State must be remade afresh, one in which our sovereign rights and human character gain primacy over the corporate international system in which modern nation states find their justification and purpose.
